Swtor multispec11/20/2022 Wow has had amazing success with dual spec (of course you have the whiners about it, they exist everywhere). and space Could you elaborate how allowing people to respec and LFD would help decrease the anti-social behavior? Do you mean that they would group with people more often, or behave less badly in groups, or something else entirely?Well in my eyes the entire community is anti-social about almost everything (of course this can be skewed based on my current server).Īllowing people to dual spec and maybe cross-advanced class dual spec would allow people to bring more than just, "im a dps so her-der-der" to the table. I like their focus on QOL changes and I hope they stick with it. I think the group finder will help people get really hooked in to the story. They said that they hope to have it ready by 1.3 which "should come out faster then 1.2" (paraphrasing).Įven with a handful of friends its hard to get a group together to instance. #Swtor multispec plus#Plus if they were to do both of those things it would def decrease the anti-social behavior of the players (considering the social rewards are boring and not worth it).I agree that multispec would be a huge QOL improvement. Being stuck into a single spec with respec costing increasing amounts of creds is no fun at all. That would also boost the morale i think. Also i would love to see dual spec with the possibility of cross advanced class dual specs. Ok so here is my opinion on things, i dont know if anyone else said this (didnt want to try and read all of 3 pages) they are going the right way with the dungeon finder that was a huge boost to morale for the WoW population and i think it will do the same thing for SWTOR. It depends on what evidence you want to believe, I guess. There is evidence that subs have dropped.ģ) No mention of numbers by Bioware since launch, and no mention of numbers in the last earnings call. There isn't any evidence for that position beside what the guy at Bioware says. Jeez."įMLSee here is the problem: The party line is that subs never changed (or only the type of subs changed). How about daily? or by the hour? My guess is it wouldn't be enough or you'd say "wow wish theyd less time bragging about their subs and more time working on their game. I guess you guys want more then monthly updates on subs. #Swtor multispec update#May 7th we will get another update on subs. Yesterday: We haven't seen a dip in subs yet. PS: about how swtor "refuses" to give us sub numbers.Įarly feb: lost some gained some but currently we have 1.7 mil #Swtor multispec free#Now its about whether giving people free play time is a sign of weakness or strength. I started this thread to discuss the LFD tool, QOL changes, and possible mergers. I would not recommend the game to anyone I know, when I know they would just get disappointed. However, I changed my mind after all the issues I have managed to find out about the game and what a lot of players feel about its current state. I personally found this game to be healthy competition to Blizzard when I first heard about it and I even welcomed it, despite having no desire to play. I'm just saying that I have problems trusting Bioware on these matters and I find the people playing SW: TOR to be getting the shorter end of the straw. They are considering changing the ending of ME 3, though. Would like some proper sources on it, though so I can be sure. It's fine if you don't like TOR, or WoW or any other game, but fueling a hate campaign against the product is not helping said game get better, nor is it helping the community.I am fairly sure Bioware did say that they did not plan to have a LFD tool in the game in one of their early blogs, but I can also have misinterpreted it, and I have not read that particular blog in a while, so I can be wrong. This leads to a storm of hate for new games and that shit storm spreads to the laypeople (non-forum-goers) until the community at large perceives a game to be fail based on little but rumors. Many of us form opinions based on conjecture or flat out stubborn disbelief. However, your rhetoric is a prime example of what has become common among gamers, especially MMO gamers. In fact I think you're being pretty mature in this thread so far. (Also, BW never said they were considering rewriting ME3 ending (at least to my knowledge), and ME3/DA are a different development team within BW in the first place). And many of the features absent from the game were announced to be absent well before the December launch. IIRC they wanted to wait to see if player demand was high enough. This is evident in your whole post, but here especially.īW never said they were opposed to LFG. I think this is why you have trust issues with the company man, you seem to be terribly uninformed.
